Owners Pete and Annie Bowes employ 15 people as veterinarians, technicians, and veterinary assistants. The Bowes are very proud of the skills and dedication this team has exhibited on a daily basis. DR. ANNIE BOWES
Dr. Annie Bowes is the lead veterinarian and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine graduate of Washington State University. She is also a University of Idaho alumni and is registered with the USDA and APHIS as a First Responder and certified in Emergency Response. Together with her husband, Pete, they raise cattle, gamebirds, horses, and love spending time in the great outdoors hunting and fishing.
The Bowes established Emergency Pet Care in 2011 and have been dedicated to their community and the pets within ever since. A complete tour of the facility follows:

- Emergency Pet Care has the latest surgical equipment
- Pets are monitored closely by trained emergency technicians and assistants
- Patients are kept warm on a heated surface
- Full vitals are recorded every 5 minutes
- Staff is trained for emergency surgeries
- Staff is also trained to preform CPR
- Sterilization is a top priority
Emergency Pet Care provides large spacious kennels for patients
We provide clean and fresh bedding
Patients bedding is changed at least every 24 hours or sooner if soiled
Large dogs are provided with foam mats to reduce pressure on joints
Emergency Pet Care also has oxygen kennels available for patients with trouble breathing
Kennels are kept very clean, visibly open to see in and out, and next to the doctor/technician area for close watching
Contagious patients are kept in a special area that prevents contamination
